Self-hardening furan resin is a casting resin that can be cured at room temperature. It can be cured and quickly demoulded by adding benzene sulfonic acid or p-toluene sulfonic acid catalyst.

Self-hardening furan resin for casting is a clear viscous fluid of amber or brown color.

This series of products is a new type of self-hardening binder for casting, with complete varieties, belonging to furan type.Due to the use of advanced synthetic technology, the casting has the advantages of high precision, non-toxic, high strength, small odor, low gas production, good sanding, suitable viscosity, smooth surface (inner cavity) and easy sanding, suitable for pouring various types of cast steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metal castings.

 

Use method of furan resin for sand mixer

1, resin sand ratio: sand: resin (containing silane) : curing agent =100: (2.0-3.0) : (1.0-4.0)

2. Sand mixing method: first add curing agent to the sand and mix the sand, and mix it for 10-30 seconds in the high-speed sand mixing machine or 30 seconds to 1 minute in the low-speed sand mixing machine.

Then add the resin mixture for 30 seconds to 1 minutes, and immediately mold the core after mixing. It is strictly prohibited to mix sand for a long time or store it for a long time.

Otherwise, it will exceed its usable time to reduce its strength or not solidify
